ESHopps wet dry filtration system

Hello,
 I am attempting to set up the wet dry filtration system for my 75 gal tank and do not know how to begin the syphon process on the filter.  I have read many pages on the Internet showing me how to complete the entire set up but nothing which shows how to start the syphon process from the overflow box into the u-tube.  I know I may sound stupid, but I am asking to finish getting my tank set up correctly.  Thanks for your help, if any can be provided?

Hey Evan,

I am not familiar with teh newer versions, but the older had a setup that had some special tubing ont he 'inlet' side... (the side where the water is 'sucked in' before it goes to the pump..

this part, had a screw on lid that was above teh water line...

you would remove the screw top, and pour water in manually until the water filled the cannister section, then you would screw the lid back on then start the pump...

the pipe, with the screw fastener lookded like an upside down U

If they no longer have this part, it might be best to contact them directly to get some customer support...

they have some excellent support in this industry, (At least many MANY folks have indicated thir pleaure experience...
