Question
hi i am getting a GSP he is about an inch big. can i just put him in straight salt water? will he be ok? because when i was mixing my water for the tank i was going buy the back of the box not thinking that was to make a salt water tank not a BW tank :/

Answer
Hi Lindsay,

This fish is adaptable in regards to Salinity with a (Specific Gravity) from low-end brackish of (1.005), up to low-end saltwater of (1.20).

First, find out what type of water the fish is presently in, which includes: freshwater, brackish, or saltwater. Once you know what type of water it's presently in, you can then acclimate it accordingly. Make sure to acclimate it slowly, so the fish can fully transition from varying waters.
