what should i do

i thought since you being an expierienced aquariast you could help me with this decission. I love this hobby and have three freshwater aquariums 2 community tanks and 1 cichlid tank. I just got a 55 gal tank and am stumped on what i should do with it i never had a planted tank and never a saltwater but those two seem to expensive for me. So what kind of fish can thrive in a 55. I want to get a larger species of fish mabye cichlids, like oscars or something i dont know what to get!!! I havent started the construction of the tank yet because i dont know what type of fish im getting. and i want the decor to fit the fishs needs perfectly
