REALLY green water

Question
About 2 months ago the water in one tank turned really green. I've done water changes, I've checked PH, it's not in direct sunlight... and it's still green.  I've even added enzymes trying to get it under control... on a good day I can see the RED swordtails  if they swim close to the glass... on a bad day, it's  just great for St. Patricks.  Thanks!

Answer
Hi Julie;

Some tanks just grow this suspended algae very easily. It is a frustrating problem indeed. A uv system and/or a diatom filter works but they are kind of expensive. About $100 or so depending on the models.

Here are some web pages about it that may give you other ideas;
