Question
hello! I just added some new plants to my 20g freshwater aquarium. no fish and just got a new flora glow bulb. I have flourite as the bottom substrate. All the plants i got are rotting at the root. I heard that the ph might be wrong? my water is really good and shouldnt be a problem. But iv lost about 7 clumps of plants so far to root rot. how do i fix this problem and keep my plant roots from rotting?

Answer
Hello Amber. The plants can be getting the rotting at the root, because of the pH level, so you should check it, and make sure it isn't high. Also you might want to think about getting a filter for them, so that the water is running and is clean. Hope this helps.
