Beautiful Blue Betta has White Spot

Question
Hey,

I got a Crowntail Betta not too long ago. He gets along wonderful with my other fish, which are Dalmatian Mollies. If anything, he acts like one of them.

Today I did a water change and cleaned some of my gravel. A few hours later I noticed that he had a white spot under his head that I never noticed before. I keep checking up on him but nothing really changes. I never noticed it before, but I'm sure I would have if he had it before. I'm not sure if I should be worried about it or not. He is a wonderful, beautiful fish and I'm scared for him.

Answer
Megan,
If you only see one spot, then is won't be Ich. When you cleaned the gravel, he might have picked up something when the gravel was moved. Keep an eye on him and make sure he is still eating good and acting normal. If he gets any more white spots, let me know.
