Answer
Dear Rudi,
I'm sorry but the Common Pleco, Featherfin synodontis and the Talking Catfish aren't very suitable for a brackish water aquarium. The synodontis is a very special catfish with specific needs. They do best in a aquarium of 50 gallons or more and they are very senstive to poor water quality. Common Plecos simply grow too large for all but the biggest aquariums. I have personally seen Plecos that were 18" inches long. A fish this size would require an aquarium of 100 gallons or larger. Lastly, Talking catfish make fine aquarium residents but they simply aren't brackish species.

You might want to consider Orange Chromides, Fan dancer gobies, Mollies, or pufferfish which are extremely comical and very adorable. Just be sure to research any species before even going out to buy one.

Best wishes!!!
Karen~
