Question
Hey, I sent someone else a question as well my friend but perhaps you could help me as well! Okay, I have a 10 gallon and 29 gallon BOTH Freshwater, but I need help on finding the right fish for both tanks and how many please! If you could help me I would so appreciate it! God bless!

Answer
Hi Duke;

It really depends on your setup and what kinds of fish you like. Do the tanks have heaters? What is the water temperature of each? What kinds of filter systems? Are you looking for several small fish for the 29 or a few medium-sized ones? Certain colors?

Keep in mind that you must start very slow. Add only one inch of fish for every ten gallons until the first 6 weeks has passed. This means only one one-inch fish for the ten gallon and a three-inch or a couple of 1.5 inch fish for the 29. Even if they do okay, don't be tempted to add more fish before this 6 week break-in period is over. Here is a link to my article with helpful information on the break-in process;
