5-gallon aquarium

Question
Here's the chronology of my tank(s): I had a mini aquarium designed for bettas and I had my betta in it for about a year and he was healthy but the water gets too cold in winter. For Christmas I got a 5-gal hexagonal aquarium with a heater and transferred the betta in there. I treated the water and did the transition appropriately. Yesterday I added a pot belly molly and an African dwarf frog. All I did was put the bag in the tank for awhile and then let them swim out of it. They all seem very happy but it's only been 24 hours. The molly swims around freely, the betta swims but lingers in the plants, and the frog likes to hide around the bottom, but he is also swimming around in a frisky sort of way from time to time. But the more I read up the more confused I get. Are they all happy at the same water temperature and PH etc.? I've never actually tested my betta's water but I will start now since he has companions.  And what about food? I have been feeding my Betta on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only since I've had him, because I was told this was a good way to avoid over feeding, but the guy at the pet store looked surprised when I told him that. He said I should get bottom pellets for the frog in case there aren't any leftovers that sink to the bottom for him. However I already have a can of freeze dried blood worms, a can of betta pellets which in my experience the betta doesn't like and allows to sink to the bottom anyway, and two types of flakes - one for tropical fish and one specifically for bettas. The number one problem is over-feeding for regular fish, but it says that frogs easily starve. In light of that I fed everyone generously once they were acclimated and watched to make sure they all ate and that some food sank to the bottom for the frog. I think I saw him eat but I'm not sure. What should my feeding regimen be from now on? I've been feeling good about feeding the betta sparsely but I don't want the frog to starve. Also, I notice the molly does eat a lot so I suspect he would overeat if I let him. Help!

Answer
Dear Aimee
Yes they will all be happy in the same water tempreture. you should be feeding your fish once or twice a day and feed them some frozen bloodworms.  Fish can not nessasaraly died from overfeeding if they get to the piont when they are that full then they wil stop eating.
