Dalmatian Mollies!

We bought 5 DAlmatian Mollies about 2 weeks ago and fromi  have read about them i have got 3 males and 2 females,now 1 of the males keeps making like a 'pit' or a hole of some sort at the bottom of the tank behind ornaments the fish seems healthy enough,it swims all day long but its just at night when it does this odd behaviour!! Can you tell me why its doing this?

I would not worry about this behaviour. Some fish have odd quirks, not to be worried about.
One thing to watch out for; Mollies are livebearers, and breed like mad! Just a warning so you expect it if, or more probably, when, it happens!
