Question
I recieved a 1 gal, aquarium as a gift. My husband trains our National Guard, So we travel in our RV all over the United States, We stay any where from 2 months to 10 months in 1 place at a time. I would like to get a betta, a 2 african dwarf frogs, but I don't know if the traveling would harm them? Do you know of any fish that it would'nt bother? Or should I just give up on the idea of having any fish, for another 5-10 years till my husband retires again?  thank you

Answer
It's really and unknown territory for me.  I do know that fish use low frequency sound for communication and long periods of vibration and low sound would stress them.  Pet stores generally sedate fish for long distance travel and even then some don't make it.  Stressed fish are more prone to disease and shortened life span.  If you were to consider putting a fish in your 1g I would just get the Betta, aquatic frogs are not as hardy and because they sit on the bottom of the tank I think travel would be too much for them.  I hope this helps with your decision.
