Fancy Goldfish

Hi.

I would like to set up a 55 gallon tank for fancy goldfish.  Must they have live plants?  I am afraid the live plants will bother my allergies. Thanks.

Fancy goldfish do not have to have live plants. They do like them of course, all fish do. But they'll get along well with just plastic.
