Cichlid Pellet Size

I am hoping this is a simple question.   I have a 4" Jack Dempsey and a 3" Oscar.  Currently I am feeding them small pellets and have been since they were tiny.  I am wondering when I should move to medium size pellets and then onto large.

Hi Adam, it is a very simple question. The thing is with food you never know if it's right or wrong until you try it. I would go ahead and try the medium size right now and in about a month or so move onto the large. It's just a trial and error thing and you have to see what they will eat and what size but they should be ready for medium size pellets.
