Betta Compatibilty

Question
I have three female bettas in a 8 gallon aquariumn. Can you tell me what fishes are compatibile with female bettas? Do I have to get all females since I have three myself?

Hi Russel,
You should be able to easily keep a small group of little tetras like Glowlights, neons, Lemons, Black phantoms, and similar little fish. Cherry barbs are also usually compatible. Harlequin rasboras should also work out well. You shouldn't have any trouble as long as you stick with small and peaceful species. There is always a risk of getting territory issues but it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Corydoras catfish are also compatible..
