hi i am having the classic new tank syndrome i have had my 60 liter tank for over a month now and have tried everything to put things right my nitrite is 0.50 my amonia is 1.0 and my nitrate is average please help i have done water changes i have put in bactozyme 2 capsules and 5 cap fulls of prime as it said on the bottle it will detoxify all three of these problems but nothing seems to work i am concidering waiting for the fish to die then start all over again but put no fish for 6 weeks please help save them thank you

I saw your question in our question pool.

When using Prime, or other products like it, you'll most likely still get a "false positive" on the ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate test kits.  It's working I"m sure.  Also, Prime dissipates out of the water after 24 hours.  So, you'll need to start using it daily, and don't use that much, just use what's recommended on the bottle, and you should be fine.  

Don't start over just yet, it sounds like it's almost done.  Just be patient :)
