Rusty Spots

Hey Karen! I have a ten gallon tank with great water that holds a cory catfish and five dalmation mollies. Recently, I have noticed that 4 of the 5 mollies have a few rusty looking spots on their sides. I was wondering if this was something to be worried about such as a disease, or if it's just a marking for these fish. Thanks!

Hi Shelby,
If the fish don't appear sick and they are eating and behaving as usual then I would guess its likely just natural coloration. I believe I have seen the same markings you are mentioning on Dalmation mollies before. Quite interesting.
