Platy - thin listless

Question
Hi I think my platies have internal parasites as symptoms are thinning, listless, stringy feces, one had a small wound which is healing a bit, and the female's body is curving a bit now. I'm so sad. I've tried treatments for bacteria and outer parasites and just started prazipro for internal parasites - it treats flukes, tapeworm, flatworm, turberllarians - does this sound like the right stuff to use? One treatment is good for 3-5 days.

hi Alex:  That sounds like a good med for your fish... im sorry they are sick... please also raise the water temperature to about 80 degrees... do it slowly... about one degree per hour and add in aquarium salt per its instruction label... feed your fish a bit extra food... they will ... if they are still eating... need the extra calories. please keep me posted... dave
