Yellow Chiclids

I would like to have aquarium with electric yellow chichlids....What is the minimum size tank I would need? How many of these fish can I have in it? Should I just have one since I heard they can be aggressive towards one another? I dont care about adding any other kinds of fish except Catfish. Would they be compatible with one another?

one yellow cichlid would require a 20 gallon tank.  Up to six would require a 55 gallon... you can keep just one.. they are great fish.  If you buy them when they are small they tend to make better tank mates...You can add a catfish in with them but do your research and make sure that whichever catfish you add is not going to grow so large that he can eat your cichilds....  dave
