Question
We have a 65 gallon tank with an angel fish, tiger Oscar and three large plecos. I would like to move my rubber eel from my fifteen gallon tank into the 65 gallon tank. The Oscar is approx. 5 inches long and the eel is around twelve inches long. Will they be able to live together or will one kill the other.

Answer
Hi Matthew;

Your rubber eel would not survive the aggressive nature of your oscar, especially as he grows larger. The eel would probably never get any food anyway. The oscar will probably drive the eel away from the food and really stress him out at the same time.

Your angel probably won't do well long term either I'm afraid. As the oscar gets bigger he will become increasingly aggressive and territorial. Angels are just not equipped to handle the same kind of aggression that oscars exhibit.

Good luck...
