Avoiding Cycling

Question
My question is: Can I have a 5 or 10 gallon tank without cycling? Been surfing the web for all my male betta information after I, like many, just bought bettas without looking them up first, but I'm happy that I got them. Anyways too cut it short both my male bettas are happy in their own 1 gallon bowl (had them for months. They are colorful, active, and like making bubble nests. Spent a lot of time thinking and looking this up and I hope you can help. I've been feeling the need for weeks to buy a bigger space for my bettas but as I look up tanks, cycling has popped up many times. I researched it a little and understand the chemical process, but I don't think I'm cut out for that kind of patient process of cycling. If I am to buy a bigger tank is there anyway way to avoid cycling?(like filters or keeping it clean)? If no, does the size of the tank matter on how long it takes? Plus if it's no again how can I do it without harming any fish if I mess up? Any tips on cycling for I might do it in the future willingly.

I am sorry if that was long.

I will appreciate your time however you answer, thank you very much.

Answer
Meg,

Betta's don't need filters so cycling in not necessary. Betta's can be in nothing less that 2.5 gallons, and not is any bowls. They don't like the currents that filters make, but if you want to give them one make sure it is a sponge filter. They should have heaters sets at 82 degrees. Just make sure you do the weekly water changes and water testing. Remember to add the water conditioner before you put your Betta's in the water. Hope this helps.
