Question
hello i am thinking about setting up a 20 planted community tank with a school of marbled hatchetfish, zebra or leopard danios, and harlequens or cardinal tetras . also 3 skunk Cory will this work

Answer
Hi Ben

There is no reason why the fish you selected won't be compatible with each other. However they are all schooling fish and do best in groups of 6 or more. So you won't really have room for very many in a 20 gallon. You may want to upgrade the tank size, especially if it will be a planted tank.

Also the Marbled Hatchetfish are jumpers and will escape out of any opening they find in the top of the tank. Make sure your tank is tightly covered with no open spaces.

The fish you selected also need swimming room, so plant your plants to the back of the tank, and leave open swimming room in front.

Other than the tank size and the extra precaution with the Hatchetfish, it should work just fine.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Richard
