Question
i am setting up a new tank to hold my pregnant molly's fry. when they come at least. and i have some old decor and some of the fake plants have broken and i was wondering if hot gluing the pieces that are still intact but like not able to stand, to a rock with hot glue and letting it cool and dry before putting it in was fine..? or will the chems from it kill my molly and fry? :o

Answer
Kyle,

NEVER add anything to an aquarium that is not made for it. Hot glue is not a good idea. Go get some silicone that says aquarium safe. You can always just go get new decor for the tank. I hope the babies are not due for at least 3 weeks. That is how long it will take before your tank has cycled. If you put the fry in before then, you will most likely lose every single one. Cycling is THE most important part of a new tank. If the water is not 100% at its best your fish will not be able to live in it.
