more fish

Question
I have a 55gal 4ft tank with 1 oscar, 2 convicts and 1 featherfin catfish, 1 basic pl*co. i would like to add maybe 1 firemouth, or something else to add a little color. would i have enough room? or am i pushing it now? they are not all full grown yet. i have considered that. i was also wondering. i adopeted the oscar from a friend that just did not take very good care of him. small tank and bad filtration. is it possiable that he has stopped growing. i wonder because he is over 18months old. i am told. and only about 8in long. seems small for his age. any help would be great. thanks for advice you have

Hi, about thr firemouths or something about that size would be fine, u are not pushing it very much at all, but for the oscar im afraid that he may become much bigger, since their adult size is 12 inches.........if i were you i would stick with simply getting a pair of firmouths or green terrors, or other cychlids.THANKS!
