oscar babies

hi,
   you know how u said leave the parents in the tank when the babies are born we done that and the oscar's ate the egg's so they laid more eggs about 2 weeks later we put them in a jar and put it at the bottom of the tank so they can't eat them do u think they will hatch in the jar?

Hi Dallas,
  If the eggs are in a jar, then you definitely need an airstone in that jar or the eggs will die.  Normally, the parent fans the eggs with its pectoral fins so if the parent can't get to the eggs, you need to provide a substitute to get oxygen to the eggs.
