chipokee cichlid

HI my name is Josh and I have 40 gallon tank with a chipokee cichlid in it.But my Austraits cichlid is chasing him and killing him what should I do with him.I didn't spell austraists right

Hi Josh,
 The best remedy for chasing is to make sure that the tank has lots of structure, i.e., wood, rock, plants etc to divide up the space and provide lots of hiding places for the weaker fish.
