Breeding mollies

Question
hi
i just bought to Mollies the other day one being a female the other a male. The female is obviously pregnant but I'm not sure how much more time she has before she has the babies. If you could tell me what to do it would be great. I know i should have bought one but i made my own breeders net it is a six by six by six in. cage with fish net to keep in the babies. Oh and one more thing i am not sure what to feed the fey when they are born some people say crushed flakes and other specialty food but i am not able to get that kind of stuff so would the flakes work?

Answer
I can not tell how much time if left without a pic, but the gestation is usually about 5 weeks from start to finish.

The breeder cage will work for a bit.

Either or works. I find crushed flakes works just as good as specialty food, and I have raised thousands of fry on the stuff. You are going to need to feed a supplement though. Freeze-dried, frozen, or live brine shrimp are a must for fry.
