CICHLID JACK DEMPSEY

HI MY NAME IS MICHELLE, I HAVE A JACK DEMPSEY AND I HAD NOTICED THAT HE HAS CLAMPED FINS, AND IS STAYING AT THE BOTTEM OF THE TANK, NOT EATING.(ABOUT 2 DAYS). ALSO I HAVE A CONVICT, WHO IS FINE! PLEASE,PLEASE, HELP ME SAVE MY FISH!!!! wHAT CAN I DO??????

Hi Michelle,
 Did you just get that fish (or any other fish in the tank)?  It sounds like he has ick.  Does he have little white spots on the fins and body? If so, that is ick and you need to treat it as soon as possible. There are many anti-ick products; I use Rid-Ick or Quik-Cure.
