Question
Hi, my female green terror has just laid eggs but i have no male to fertilize them. should i remove the eggs from the tank? i have 2 red devils and a large male brasiliensis, will they try and eat the eggs? and will the eggs do any harm to the health of my tank if i leave them in there? thanks very much.

Answer
Hi Julian,
You can just leave the eggs in there. After a few days they will go white (with fungus) and either the parent or another fish will eat them.  This will not cause any ill effects. You may even find that your green terror female will lay eggs like this (i.e., with no male) on a regular basis.  I have had females of similar species do this every two weeks for years on end.
