what fish to get for my new tank.

Hi i have just bought a 20 litre fish tank for my 11yr old son and wondered what would be the best fish to put in it?. I have got a filter, a heater and a pump and a light in it, i am just letting everything run for a week or 2 before i introduce any fish to it. I have never owned a fish tank before so i am a total novice at all this. I would be so grateful of any advice you could give me, Thanks

Hi Julie

The best fish for you and your son to start your hobby with depends on your personal taste. My recommendation to people just starting out in the hobby are small peaceful fish such as Guppies. However, in an 11 litre, you only have enough room for 3-4 Guppies, or a couple of Platys.
