Question
QUESTION: i have a 30 gallon tank with 1 angelfish, 1 rainbow shark, 1 cherry barb, 1 zebra barb, 2 killie fish, 2 skirt tetra, 1 african dwarf frog... i want to get maybe one more fish... maybe a ram, knife, or another angel, i kinda want something amazing, uniqe.. any ideas?

ANSWER: Hi Steven,
I don't think a knife fish would do well in there. They need a LOT of cover and many, many places to hide. Another angel or a ram might be an okay idea.  In both cases, I would make sure that you have structure (wood, rock, plants) in the tank, to provide hiding places for any weaker fish.

QUESTION: i was thinking for future purposes how does 2 firemouth, 2 convict, and 2 rams sound for a 32 gallon tank? if its ok is it posible to add maybe another ram or even one of either the firemouth or convict?

Answer
Hi Steven,
If you put two firemouths or two convicts in a tank, assuming you have one of each sex, then the dynamics of the tank will change dramatically.  Breeding pairs of convicts or firemouths are very intolerant of any other fish in their tank, and will most likely eliminate such fish very quickly.
