White Homing Pigeons

Hey i want to know if there is substitute chemical bath that i can use on my pigeons instead of the one made especially for pigeons.I looked everywhere and there is no place that sell any bathing products for pigeons do you think there is a replacement i can use to prevent the insects from scratching them?

I have heard of natural bath salts that help remove parasites and condition the feathers:

I actually have used Foy's bath salts and it worked fairly well. Just don't leave the bath water out all day where they can drink large quantities of it.
