two baby parakeets

Question
i have two baby parakeets in the nesting box right now.
one is, i don't know how many days older one is than the other.
but i think the older baby is taking the food from the other one and squishing the other one. is there any way the younger baby can still survive? or do i have to take the younger one out and hand feed it?
if i have to hand feed the younger one then how would i go about doing that?

Answer
Hi alex!

First of all, it sounds like you are a first time breeder, so I strongly suggest letting nature take its course this time, and for the next 3-4 times. The younger baby can still survive, as long as it is strong enough to cry for food then the mother will feed it. If you still want to learn how to hand-feed, please ask a follow-up. I'm not trying to be cruel, but you need to learn more about breeding before trying to hand-feed.

Hope this helps!
