Parkeet

I have a male parkeet. He was nice for the first week. Now he does not want to be held I put a mirror in his cage with him and my husband thinks this has something to do with the way he is now.I really want to get him to were I can hold him. Please email me back and tell me what to do.

Hi, whell the truth is that your husband is right the male parkeet will get used to his mirror friend instead of you, this will take time talk to him give him a little attention and hr will start to trust you.Once he is ready he will come to you , but reamember one thing these birds do not really like to be held at all unless he is really comfortable with you guys.
