cow kick

I have a 7 year old pinto mare who cow kicks when ever i am on her back. when i got her she never did this. when i took her to the first show i lunged her and then got on her and she would back up and start to cow kick. what should i do

I understand your question but, would like to have more information about you and your horse.

It may seem a simple question to you about just this one thing she is doing.  But, I would gamble that if you sat down and really thought about it, she has other behavioral problems too.  She is most definitely telling you something, but I cannot say from your short question.

Tell me more about her and her training and your experience level.
