Question
A couple of years back i used to own a horse and had to sell this horse due to,to much time taken up and money. With training this is horse i used parelli training. Now i still go to my old barn to help out,and the owner of the barn has asked me to help her train a brand new mustang filly that is nine months old.Im more used to working with horses around 10-15.Im unsure what to do with her because she is not mine and i have never worked with a baby before. She can be groomed, led and haltered fine.I am unsure what to do from here.Any help would be nice!
Thanks,
Tiffanie

Answer
Hi Tiffanie!

I cannot give training advice to non-owners of the horse in question.

Working with such a young and impressionable baby should be left to experienced trainers.  So many things could go wrong and a human or the filly could be easily and unintentionally injured.
