Question
shy horse
shy horse
hello ma'am, when i approached a filly, seeing me she turned her face towards the wall like this in the picture as if she was feeling shy starring at the boy whom she's going to marry . . . lol may i know why? she is a decent horse.

Answer
Rohit,

From THIS picture, it just looks as if her attention was just diverted
somewhere else.
She is very pretty.

When I first meet a new horse, I can usually tell a lot about them just by how they accept my approach. If they are stabled, unless they are school horses and have MANY people approach them during the day to say "hello", it is a good sign if they walk to the front of their door to greet me.

Of course if they are eating I do not expect them to interrupt their meal to come to me.Some horses are naturally more friendly than others. If they put their ears back and turn their tails to the door, it is a probable sign that they may have been misused by people, and do not want anyone to approach them or to catch them. It would just result in more work or maybe unpleasant training.

There is USUALLY a reason for a "sour", unfriendly horse attitude. Watch horses in a pasture- note how they relate to each other.
