what type of lungeing is this

hello, what type of lungeing is this? i dont believe that this is double lungeing since the lunge line is not over the hocks.

It is a form of lungeing- a type of long-lining also.It may be a question of semantics.
Different schools of classical training have various methods.

I use this sometimes, but I find the double lungeing with a soft cotton line around the horse's haunches to be quite useful.
