Question
babies trotting
babies trotting
hello sir. today morning around 8am, i had been to the racetrack along with my dad's friend, a senior racehorse trainer. please watch the image what i attached below.
i was standing on the outer rail and watching horses. a bunch of 4 horses which all were 2 year old babies being trotted from the outer rail were passing by me. the second rider told me to stand away since they are babies, they get spooked easily. when this rider told me, i thought he was joking. another bunch of 7 to 8 baby horses, going in single file were also trotted and passed by me. so, the leading rider requested me to move away. i really got confused.

so sir, do baby horses really get scared seeing strangers? even on that day, i was wearing complete black dress, sticking to the outer rail and watching horses. do horses get spooked seeing dark colors like black, dark grey, navy blue?

which colors do horses like and feel comfortable. even when i become a rider, i will start wearing that color dress and ride them. please answer my question sir!!

Answer
No. It has nothing to do with the colors that you wear. It is just a matter of young horses "spooking" at most anything that they might see. If the riders are asking you to step away from the rail...please do as asked. It is their life on the horse and you wouldn't want to be responsible for their injury.
