Answer
A three year old stud is a lot of horse for anyone to handle!  I strongly advise you find a trainer who can work with the two of you on a regular basis.  At the very least try to find a trainer to work with him a few times a month.  Typically weight is not a huge factor in horse obedience unless you are extremely light weight and short and the horse his extremely muscular and tall.  My guess is that if your size has become an issue, then it is most likely because your horse views you as a minimal to no threat being lower in the herd than himself.  If the two men riding him are older, larger, or spend more time working with your stud, then your looking at your problem right there.  Spend as much time as you can handling your horse and training him.  If you can feed him, turn him out, and clean his stall regularly, then this will help establish your leader status with your horse.  Perhaps you can ask the men who rode him to ride him before you get on, and perhaps also hand walk your horse while you're in the saddle for a lap or two around the ring.  Ask the men if they could lunge him with you.  This will help your horse see you as more of a leader and at the same time provide a more reasonable experience from which you can demonstrate your leadership.  Above all, seek assistance from a professional trainer.  When a horse is as young as 3, he is still quite impressionable and what he learns now will affect his behavior in his later years.
