QuestionI have several horses and 2 being two years old.
The quater horse went through this and the vet had
me change the vitamins. The other horse is a walker gelding. He is having problems with his back legs putting them in line when he walks. He is on the same vitamins, feed, and pasture. We have had a group os skunks move around the farm. The horse broke ones back and killed the mother. It has been suggested that the droppings could cause this problem. I live in north middle Tennessee. Any help is greatly appreciated.
AnswerHi Christine,
I'm sorry I don't know about skunk droppings, but if the horse isn't tracking properly, that needs to be checked by a chiropractor. Get a referral at www.avcadoctors.com for a certified chiropractor of veterinarian. It sure sounds like he'd benefit from an adjustment.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. All the best,
