Freeze Brand ZD 254

QUESTION: I have a 13 year mare with a freeze brand ZD 254.  She may be a Standard Bred.  Is there one place I can go to find out info on her?

ANSWER: Hi Patricia.
  I might be able to help you out--sort of. In Standardbreds, ZD254 is not a complete freeze brand. The complete Standardbred freeze brand would be ZD2540.
  ZD2540 is registered to a bay mare with a white left hind ankle and white right hind pastern.
She was last known to be owned by a man from Delaware Ohio. If this is, indeed, your mare, she has just turned 9 years old and her registered (or racing) name is Prove It Sammi Lou.
