flat feet horses

There is NO special or best shoe for a flat or dropped sole horse.

The MOST important thing is to have NO SOLE PRESSURE in your shoes !!
By either grinding, rasping or the round/beveled side of the hammer, take the inside web of
the shoe down where as it does not lay or put pressure on the sole itself.

Actually like a bevel when looking at the hoof side of the shoe. Many companies now have
shoes on the market that are beveled.

Sorry I am late giving You and answer, I have been working out-of-my state...

Yes... You are correct. Again it is NO sole pressure that helps a flat footed/sole
horse. You MAY be giving "temporary" relief to some horses that "might" be tender in
their heel/palmar area; but by elevating the hoof angle does nothing in helping the
hoof or flat soles !!
