Question
hello sir. i believe that knees close lately for low heeled horses and i also believe that low heeled horses should start lately with shock absorbing pads. am i right?

Answer
HELLO ROHIT...

NO...Genetically the knees (carpals-6 bones-one accessory) close between 22 & 24 months
of age...Later in some breeds. I have seen some, it took 30 mos for them to form
and close !!

Pads depend on the surface you are running the horse on...they CAN BE necessary evil
and cause wall problems later !!

Best to You !!
