How big?

Question
Hi i have 3 baby red ear sliders how big of a tank should i have for them there 1 and a half inches long so if you could help that would be great!!

Answer
The rule of thumb is about 10 gallons of swimming space per inch of turtle, so for about 4 1/2" of turtles total you should provide about 45 gallons, and it will quickly grow to more.

We tend to use plastic tubs, kiddie pools, or plastic stock tanks when our herds get big.
