Well...

1. Sliders eat or harass fish

2. Sliders need to bask where it is warm (90 or so) and has UV-B lighting available.

3. Sliders are really messy animals needing 2-3 times the filtration a fish would

4. Sliders need about 10 gallons of water per inch of turtle, so even a small turtle needs a 1/2 filled 20 gallon tank.

It really is not usually a good idea.
