I think there is something wrong with my painted turtle

My turtles shell has weird spots on it.  I was scratching Boydos belly and he bit me. When I turned him over he was bleeding.  I also caught her in the wild.

Wild turtles are usually riddled with parasites, fungi, spots of shell rot, etc. that are not a big deal in the wild.

The problem is that when they are stressed, these things and more start to take over. It is one big reason we generally do not recommend catching wild turtles.

Biting is common for stressed turtles (they usually hate being held). The bleeding worries me but you do not tell me where it is from.
