feeding a tortoise

I was wandering how much i should feed a  Russian tortoise.

Answer
Think of his head as a bowl, and fill the bowl with food, gently packed down. That is an average serving amount.

If the tortoise is a young one- under about 3", feed it daily. In the 3-5" range, feed it every other day. Bigger than that, go about every 3 days. This is not a commandment, just a guideline to avoid over-eating.
