Question
my sulcata is making a clicking sound throughout the day i dont know what this means

Answer
Hello Denny,

Is this sound coming from the jaw of your tortoise?
If it does (I've actually seen this problem before in real life)you could try to file some on the beak of the tortoise (But remember to be careful and don't file to much).

However, if the clicking sound comes from the breathing, it's probably a disease called RI (Respiratory infection). It usually appears if the tortoise has been exposed to drafts and breezes.
For this problem, It very important to keep the tortoise warm.
Also check on the temperatures in the tank and make sure that they're right (About 80-85 degrees F as the normal temperature and about 90-95 degrees F in the basking spot).

If the clicking sound doesn't go away within a few couple of days, you should contact a vet for further help.

Best wishes
Sara
