Sugar glider toys

Question
I was wondering what types of toys my boys could play with? Is it normal to make holes in their tent and take most of the stuffing out? Do you know how to get them to stop going potty all over me ever 10 sec?

Answer
Well I am not one who uses any "stuffed" animals or playthings in my glider cages..
I would be too worried that they might ingest some of the inside contents..

I do however make my own fleece glider pouches & toys and they work great! no stuffing required ;)
I got the idea when I tried to purchase some fun things for my sugar gliders and realized that the sheer cost alone would leave me no choice but to put a 2nd mortgage on my home... lol
as far as toys go I have LOTS of fleece ropes which are easily made by braiding three LONG strands of fleece material together.. they make a great swinging apparatus and also wash up nicely in the washing machine.. we also have small rubber balls for them to roll around.. as well as various rodent style wheels which come in many different varieties.. (plastic wall mount, wire metal wheels, and of course the famous wodent wheel) and I would recommend "some" of the different varieties of parrot toys on the market (using caution & discretion of course)and some people also recommend using toilet paper & paper towel tubes as well as the gliders love to carry them around and tear them and crawl through them and such.. there are so many great ideas!

as far as the potty training thing.. you are plum out of luck.. as there is no way to potty train your glider unfortunately.. and that is something us glider lovers just learn to deal with.. I do have a tip for you tho.. initially upon coming out of the pouch (and waking up) a glider will use the potty right away.. we use a potty rag and keep the glider on there until he does his business.. then after he is done we let him onto our body.. but afterwards the only other sign he is about to drop bombs is that he will lift his tail (the part right close to his bottom) but usually by the time you notice he is already working on his sigh..lol

Hope this information helps!
