Question
Ive owned gliders for roughly a 8 months now. ive got 2 colonies with 1 male and 2 females per cage. One of my colonies with my youngest suggies have been acting really strange for the past wk and this morning one of my gliders Isabelle was out of her sleeping pouch and a baby joey showed out of her pouch. My question is can i keep the other female Suzy Q in the cage while Isabelle is raising her joeys (shes carrying twins). And also in Cujo the male going to be aggressive?

Answer
actually gliders raised in colonies are very helpful to one another generally.. if the female has been with her prior to her pregnancy.. she should surely not pose a threat.. of course animals are very much individuals and can be hard to predict as each has been raised differently.. so keep an eye out to see how she is reacting to the new addition to the cage.. the momma will be very very protective of her brood naturally anyhow.. you may notice her not wanting to expose her belly even to you sometimes as she crawls around her environment..

daddy gliders on the other hand are EXTREMELY beneficial to momma & baby and are actually the primary care takers of the babies.. you will often times see momma out eating while daddy is left in the sleeping pouch to care for baby.. baby loves dad & will like to cling to him tight..

observation is the key here.. I would love to hear your observations after the twins make an appearance :)
